Parker Orthodontics is always accepting new patients. We offer complimentary consultations where we conduct a full exam and discuss the process of getting braces in Baton Rouge, Central, Gonzales and Donaldsonville. Dr. Parker and his team will discuss the treatment plan and length of treatment during your initial exam.
Our exams are very thorough so please allow time for the consultation appointment. We value your time, so please feel free to bring your completed new patient form to your consultation.
Before braces are placed, patients must visit a dentist for an exam and have any necessary fillings. Patients should visit the dentist every six months for a thorough examination and cleaning. Before each orthodontic appointment, patients are encouraged to brush their teeth. Toothbrushes and toothpaste are provided in the office.
Your appointments are scheduled to fit your busy lifestyle. Our staff makes every effort to accommodate each patient’s schedule. In order to help us continue to schedule efficiently, 24 hour notice is required to cancel an appointment.
Baton Rouge: Monday & Tuesday, 7:30am – 5:00pm (NOTE: We have an assistant available for patients Wednesday-Friday at the Baton Rouge location to clip wires and make sure they are comfortable.)
Central: Thursday (except 1st Thursday of the month), 11:30am – 4:45pm
Donaldsonville: Wednesday, 8:30am – 4:1`5pm
Gonzales: 1st Monday of every month, 8:30am – 4:45pm
Treatment may last from 18 to 30 months, though this will vary depending on your individual case. Appointments are typically scheduled from six to eight weeks apart. Your cooperation in keeping scheduled orthodontic appointments, maintaining proper hygiene and taking care of your braces may allow you to finish your orthodontic treatment early.
Written correspondence is given to our patients during most appointments. Please make sure that you receive and review any pertinent information.
